Jamie Vardy celebrates new Leicester deal by buying a Ksh 25 million Bentley Continental
Jamie Vardy celebrated signing a bumper new deal with Leicester by splashing out on a £168,000 (Ksh 25 million) Bentley Continental. The England striker recently agreed an improved three-and-half year contract worth around £75,000 (Ksh 11 million) a week – and treated himself to the new motor.
Five years ago Vardy was plying his trade for Halifax in the Northern Premier League – now he’s the most lethal marksman in the English Premier League.
Vardy, 29, tops the Premier League scoring charts with 19 goals – three more than rivals Harry Kane and Romelu Lukaku.
The former Fleetwood frontman was linked with Chelsea and Manchester United, only to commit his future to Cluadio Ranieri’s table-toppers until 2019.
He said: “Leicester City have shown nothing but total faith in me since the day I arrived here three and a half years ago and it’s impossible to measure how much that belief has helped me to improve.
“I’ll spend every day working to repay it.”
